Why are we on earth? We are here for one reason. To create. People in the golden third ratio are doing this consciously. It doesn’t matter what you do, nothing is good or bad. Every thought you have, every action you take, every word you speak is creating something in your life. Just because you may not want to believe in gravity does not mean it does not exist. The forgotten laws or creating work in the exact same way.
A breif summary of how it works: everything in this universe is energy. You are energy, the food you eat is energy, your thoughts are energy, the flus you have are energy. Some are high and some low. To create in life you must change the frequency of your energy. That can be done in so many ways. Also change your diet to raise your energy. The reason to do this is because you are a living electro-magnetic field. You are a magnet for similar energy in this universe. The heart and brain produce an electro-magnetic field together, which influences the reality around us.
The atoms that make up the physical world are 99.9999% empty. This was proved by the double slit experiment. Your brain and heart are working together to present you with your future, circumstances in your life, everything!
The source of happiness comes from three things in life, for every single person. Those three things are pleasure, passion and purpose.
Happiness derived from pleasure is the least lasting. I think the reason for that is because when we rely on happiness from pleasure, as soon as the thing we are getting pleasure from is gone, so is the happiness. So if you are happy eating junk food, even though you know its bad for you, as soon as the food is gone, so is the happiness. That’s probably why your hunger is never truly fulfilled from the bad food. Or a certain substance is the major source of happiness for you, then you will become an addict of the substance. Soon you will become dependent on the pleasure as a source of happiness.
The second form of happiness comes from passion, this is also not as long lasting. But it is a step in the right direction. This is because if fuels the source of ultimate happiness.
The ultimate source of happiness is purpose. When you have a reason to wake up in the morning, or your goals are powered by a big why, that is going to bring you the most amount of happiness. People living life with a purpose are going to be deeply fulfilled. A good example is Mike Krzyzewski, basketball coach at Duke University. He has won 3 NCAA championships, 2 gold medals as the coach of the USA team and the all time most winningest coach in College ball. You would think his purpose is to win right? Nope.

Living with purpose means you are living the golden third life.
Yes, there is a difference between an idea and a business. The question is how do you take your idea and turn it into a business. Anyone who has ever had an idea and turned it into a business that provides them with residual income is a true successful entrepreneur. A lot of people come up with an idea, but they don’t know what to do next.
The first thing to do would be to share the idea with everyone; friends, family, your sphere of influence. The feedback will be positive and negative, but that you already knew. The point of sharing your idea is to become a master at communicating your vision/idea. If you are not able to communicate what the idea/product/service is, then it will be hard to get potential investors, or buyers to believe in you and your vision. Creating relationships will be key in order to make your idea a money making machine.
A lot of times, people will ask you questions about your idea that you will not be able to answer. This is a good thing because it will get you to think of solutions to those questions. also, you will gain momentum and the idea will start to take shape in your head, the more you talk about it.
Once you start sharing your idea, people and opportunities will start appearing to take it to the next level.
What happens to most people when they have a great idea is, they convince them selves that it’s not possible, or they are scared of taking action. Tim Ferriss, in his book The 4-Hour Workweek, asks 7 simple questions that will help you over-come your fear or procrastination of taking action.
Define your nightmare, the absolute worst that could happen if you did what you are considering?
What steps could you take to repair the damage or get things back on the upswing, even if temporarily?
What are the outcomes or benefits?
What would happen if you were fired from your job today?
What are you putting off out of fear?
What is it costing you-financially, emotionally, physically-to postpone action?
What are you waiting for?
Write your answers down, and do not edit. Members of the Golden Third always look for opportunities, not excuses.
Your future depends on this model. To be a member of the Golden Third you need the triangle of success. The triangle of success that I have created can be implemented into any aspect of your life and you can experience great success. It does not matter how big the challenge or problem you are facing, you will be very surprised on how easily it works.
The foundation of the triangle is the vision you have of your future. A boat will never leave a dock without knowing the destination. Our subconscious brain works in the same manner. Our subconscious is responsible for the direction of our life. You can program your subconscious mind to direct you in whichever way you like. However, the language of the subconscious is imagery. You must create a very vivid vision in your mind’s eye. Furthermore, you have to continuously remind yourself of this vision. Write it on paper. Successful people write their goals over and over again, because you must give your vision attention on a daily basis. Even the biggest and successful corporations have a vision/mission statement. They know that their vision can motivate and inspire their employees.

Once you create a vision, you need to create a plan that you believe will help achieve the goal/vision. Brain storming or writing a long list of ideas will allow your subconscious mind to imagine that your vision is possible. Steve Chandler also agrees with this idea. He says one hour of planning saves three in execution. Definitely plan your work, because if you don’t, you will end up spending majority of your time reacting to the mistakes you will make.
Without action nothing is possible. Once you have the ideas powered by a big vision, you will automatically become confident enough to follow through with the plan. Your success rate will also go through the roof. It will feel as if your goal is pulling you towards itself. There is no way of completing your task without meeting rejection or failure. It is not failure, if you learn from it.
I guarantee that you will succeed in achieving any goal or creating your vision. A lot of successful people are already using these techniques, but they may be doing it subconsciously.

To survive we need to eat nutritious food, this is a very obvious and simple, but it is always overlooked. The reason people get cancer or diseases is because their food is lacking nutrition. Most processed food do not contain essential nutrients. Furthermore, people like to replace nutritious food with multi-vitamins and other pills that they believe are just as good as the real vegetable or fruit. This is not true, there is no way of recreating vegetable/fruits and the nutrients in them.
By eating nutritious food, you will be giving the cells in your body what they need to work as efficiently and effectively as possible. Last, but definitely not least is reading. Reading has so many advantages and is a topic so big I could write a book about it. Reading has a direct correlation with the amount of money you will make in life. It also has a direct relation with your iq.
After you set your goal and know what you want to do, whats next? What if you have no idea how to achieve your goal. I set alot of big goals and alot of the times I have no idea on how I’m going to accomplish them. The goal could be a multi million dollar company or losing a lot of weight. The answer is simpler than you think! Learning. There have been trillions of people who have lived on planet earth. There is not a single topic out there that has not been written about. Start reading. We live in the age of information. We have access to such a ridiculous amount of information, and it can all be done via a phone.
Reading is critical to your success. It literally allows you to think bigger. Sometimes we block ourselves to ideas and visions of success. We make a situation much more complicated than it needs to be. We can only think as big as our vocabulary. Reading is the best way to learn new words.
Most of the time when we cannot imagine our selves achieving a certain goal, it is because we are not confident. The reason you are not confident is because you need to educate yourself in the certain area you are setting a goal. For example, when i wanted to lose weight and gain muscle, i read a lot about what the most effective way of losing weight is. My next goal is to start up a construction company that does millions in sales every year. The best way for me to achieve this goal is to learn what successful construction companies do, in order to be successful.
If your not sure what your first step or next step should be, then you should brain storm. Make sure you write down all your ideas. Also, make sure you have fun while brainstorming. There is never a bad idea.
The next step is to take action. Without action a dream/goal is just a hallucination. It does not matter what you do. Just do something. Set out a time in the week where you are going to dedicate a certain amount of time towards achieving your goal. Also, remember that you will not be able to accomplish everything in just one day. It will take time and you will have to continuously work on your goal. Keep in mind that you can never fail, and the only thing that can come in your way is you.

Everyone is networking for the same reason, they are trying to grow their business as well. Your main intent of networking is not to create relationships it is to make money. You will create tons of relationships while making money. Have a messages at these networking events. Create a value proposition. Why is your business/service the best?
3. Follow Up
This is a crucial step in taking your business to the next level. Following up with clients will show them that you want their business. Always ask for business. Create a database of clients. This way you can market to them on a continuous basis. Always provide the best service because your clients are your biggest referral system. It is 7 times easier to sell past clients than new ones.
Continue to focus on accomplishing the goal. Also figure out what creates the most revenue. Or possibly what attracts the most customers. The 80:20 rule applies to everything. Focus on the 20% of the activities that generate 80% of the revenue. Eliminate anything process, marketing, systems that slow you down or that are not generating growth.

You will attract what ever you are focused on. Create a list of things to do and cross them out one by one. Most people want more in life and usually their next thought is i don’t have and will never have this. The thought the proceeds wanting something should be solution oriented. Everyone is always talking about the law of attraction and how you can create anything you want in life. But nobody ever talks about the key to making that happen. Belief is the key. Everyone believes that genes and DNA is what controls our life right. You always hear people saying i don’t have good genes, that’s why i cant do this or that and they become a victim in life. Most people believe that you have to sweat real hard and work 40 plus hours a week to be successful. But I believe that hard work is not necessary to achieve your biggest goals. You’ve got to do creative thinking and have a firm belief in how you’re going to execute your ideas. You will obviously have to put in work, but hard work alone will not bring success.
I have just read a book, called The Founders At Work, Stories of Startups’ Early Days by Jessica Livingston. In this book Jessica Interviews the founders of 33 Very successful companies. The list includes: Hotmail, Excite, Firefox, Paypal, Yahoo, Flicker, Lotus. I realized a common trend in the stories these founders were telling. They all had very similar characteristics. These are 5 common characteristics of the successful entrepreneurs.
1. Big Unrealistic Goals
Every single successful entrepreneur that has ever lived has had goals. They may not have necessarily wrote them down, but they always have a mental image of where they are going. Will Smith says, “Set a goal, know who you want to be, what do you want to do, figure out how you are going to get there”
2. Make a Plan
Setting goals and envisioning how you want your future to be like is the first step, but you must make a plan. Without a plan, you are just a daydreamer. Steve Chandler, the author of 100 Ways to Motivate yourself says, that you should write your plan on paper. When ever he needs to accomplish a goal, he writes 100 ways to accomplish my goal. It doesn’t matter how unrealistic the things are. All that matters is that you are making a plan. What this does in your brain is, it helps you imagine and believe that the goal can be accomplished.
A common characteristic that the founders of big companies is, they can adapt whenever it is necessary. Most of the time plans will not go accordingly, but that does not mean your idea is not a good one. Or that your goal can not be accomplished. There will always be hurdles in your way, but you must adapt to the changes. Blockbuster is a good example of a company that did not adapt to changes in the market place. They did not recognize that most people watch movies on the internet. That is where Netflix came in and took over the market. So how do you adapt? it is simple; Accept it. Evolve. Adapt.
4. Be Decisive
A lot of the times you will need to make quick decisions. Not only do you have to make a quick decisions, but you also have to believe in it. When entrepreneurs are asked how do you make decisions? How do you know a business is going to be successful or not? Most of the time they will answer i followed my gut feeling.
5. Positive Attitude
Self Explanatory ! Believe in your goals, believe in your plan, believe in your decisions. If something goes wrong, its not the end of the world, adapt and move on !
